Where is Roatan located?

Roatan is an island off the northern coast of Honduras in the Caribbean Sea. It’s part of the Bay Islands.

Roatan is beautiful year-round, but the dry season (March to August) offers the best weather for tours and beach activities. This is considered the low season, whereas September to February is considered the high season.

Yes, English is widely spoke by most of the island’s population, especially in the tourism industry.

Roatan is very safe, especially in tourist-friendly areas. There is community, municipal and national police providing security and patrols, but as always, use common sense and follow local advice.
